NEW chaos models sighted! and fuzz's' thoughts!

tonights post is a few pics of the new chaos minis that are floating around, my thoughts and eh,,, thats about it!

first up New WD cover art. i love this! it makes the magazine look more.... brutal?! anyways the layout is eyecatching and cool and i love it!

the maulerfeind! this is the nice chappy on the cover art and... well as you can see its fantastic! although it looks a bit like a daemon engine and a chronos its a brilliant new direction for chaos marines! its lovley and gribbly (although not as gribbly as id like, but if the game was as dark as early RT art no one would play :P) 8/10 

the forgefeind! from the looks of it this looks like a more shooting version of the maulerfiend! i do like this one as it looks just like a archaic bit of hertec technology and its beautifully ornate. although it looks rather symetrical a bit of GS should fix that! and even better i reckon that its in the maulerfiend kit! (smae carapace and back legs and neck) 9/10

chaos techmarine.

im not so fond of this one. im assuming that its plastic and sadly it looks so... static :( coupled with the fact that a evil looking dark mechanicum magos would be perfect to go with the feinds this is a bit of a letdown, still with some guitar string and GS this could look good. 6/10

raptors. with a new name and slightly nicer armour. whilst the "wings" looked like chainblades which would have been awsome these appear to be ornaments :/ still these are VERY nice sculpts, just as planned! 8/10

my belife is that chaos stuff should look like evil marine stuff. warped mutated and tentacled but still recongisably marine. 

we could have had a storm talon with a possesd screaming face and tentacles that picked things up 

or a land speeder that had grown giant bat wings

or anything

but that.

really it looks like a tomb spyder with toy wings sewn on. it looks like a fecking dinobot. HOW IS IT ABLE TO FLY. WHERE IS THE JETS? WHERE IS THE 1 SOLID WING SURFACE

FEATHERS YOU SAY? WHAT SORT OF SPAZTIC BIRD HAS 3 FECKING FEATHERES?!

AND GUNS IN THE HANDs!!?? SO WHERE IS THE HYDRAULICS AND PIPES AND BONES AND STUFF
